This software separates normal from non-normal tissues for up to 50 tissues across multiple species (rats, dogs, non-human primates, etc.) by comparing tissues against "normal" controls for a specific study and/or "normal" historical controls.
Applications range from short term, limited tissue discovery and lead optimization studies to full tissue GLP-compliant exploratory/development and definitive IND-enabling and NDA-supporting protocols.
HistoPATHTM is adaptive software. It sensitivity and specificity increases as it is used by a particular client and a solid database of historically accepted, normal control tissues is established. With such training, the software automatically analyzes protocol-specified tissue imaged on the Aperio Scan Scope XT-S and screened by SPC's HistoQCTM program for histologic acceptability by SPC's HistoQCTM program for histological acceptability into normal versus abnormal categories. The results and the accompanying annotated images are presented in a "heat map" pattern that enables immediate user-friendly results interpret ate and facilitate integrity into client-specified pathology data. |
